If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Blatnica. Drive on the main road heading towards the Vápenná dolina. Follow the signs directing you to Tlstá. Park your car at the designated parking area near the trailhead, which is located at the beginning of TZT Vápenná dolina – Tlstá. Ensure to check for any parking fees which might apply, generally around €2-€5 for a day.

From the parking area, begin your hike on the blue-marked trail (modrá) towards Tlstá. The hike is approximately 2.5 km and is classified as moderate, taking around 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Výhľad nad reťazami. Enjoy the beautiful views along the trail, and be sure to follow the trail markers.
