Vogel Ski Center: A Winter Wonderland

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Bohinjsko Jezero from your location in Inner Carniola. Follow the signs for Lake Bohinj (Bohinjsko jezero). The ski center is located approximately 30 kilometers from the town of Bled, which is a common starting point. Once you reach the lake, follow the signs to the Vogel ski center, which is located at the northern side of Lake Bohinj. There is a parking area available at the ski center, but be aware that during peak season, parking spots can fill up quickly.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from your location in Inner Carniola to the town of Bohinjska Bistrica. From Bohinjska Bistrica, you can catch a local bus that goes directly to the Vogel ski center. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary by season. The bus ride from Bohinjska Bistrica to the ski center takes about 30 minutes. Note that you will need to purchase a bus ticket, which costs around €2-€3 per person.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can also consider taking a taxi from your location in Inner Carniola to Vogel ski center. This option is more expensive, generally costing between €30 and €50 depending on your starting point. Taxis are a convenient choice if you are traveling with a group or if you have ski equipment that would be cumbersome on public transport.
