From Koper city center, head to the main bus station located at Kidričeva ulica. Take the bus to Ajdovščina, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. When you arrive at the Ajdovščina bus station, exit the station and head northeast on Partizanska cesta. After about 500 meters, take the first left onto Vipavski Križ Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Grad Vipavski Križ, which will be on your right.

From Koper, make your way to the Koper train station located at Kolodvorska ulica. Take a train towards Ajdovščina, which may require a transfer at the Postojna station. Once you arrive at Ajdovščina train station, exit and walk northeast on Partizanska cesta for about 500 meters. Then, turn left onto Vipavski Križ Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Grad Vipavski Križ on your right.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Koper. Start from the city center and take the bike path towards Ajdovščina. Follow the signs for the cycling routes, which will guide you along a scenic route through the countryside. Once you reach Ajdovščina, follow Vipavski Križ Road straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see Grad Vipavski Križ on your right.

For those adventurous enough to walk, start from Koper's main square, Titov trg. Head northwest towards the waterfront and follow the path along the coast until you reach the outskirts of Ajdovščina. This is a long walk of approximately 15 kilometers, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and water. Once in Ajdovščina, walk northeast on Partizanska cesta, then take a left onto Vipavski Križ Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers to reach Grad Vipavski Križ.
