From Ljubljana city center, head to the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana) located at Trg Osvobodilne Fronte 4. Look for the bus schedule that includes routes to Bled. Purchase a ticket to Bled at the kiosk or online. Buses to Bled run multiple times a day, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bled bus station, follow the signs to Lake Bled, which is about a 15-minute walk straight ahead.

From Ljubljana railway station (Železniška postaja Ljubljana), take a train to Lesce-Bled station. Train schedules can be checked online, and the journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lesce-Bled station, exit the train station and catch a local bus (or taxi) to Lake Bled. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes, and the bus stop is right outside the train station.

If you are already in the Bled area, you can walk to Lake Bled from various accommodations nearby. Look for signs directing you to the lakefront. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views along the way, taking approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your starting point. Just follow the main roads leading towards the lake, and you will eventually arrive at the picturesque shore of Lake Bled.
