If you are starting from Ljubljana's main train station (Železniška postaja), exit the station and head straight down Trg Osvobodilne fronte. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Slovenska cesta. Turn left onto Slovenska cesta and walk until you see the statue of the poet France Prešeren on your right. Prešernov trg is just ahead, a short walk from the statue.

If you are coming from the Ljubljana Castle, walk down the hill towards the city center. Follow the path down to the Funicular Railway station. Once at the bottom, turn left onto Krekov trg and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Slovenska cesta.
