Getting There

  • Walk

    If you are starting from the Maribor Train Station, exit the station and head east on Ulica heroja Zidanška. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Ulica Koroška cesta. Turn left onto Ulica Koroška cesta and walk for 300 meters until you see the large square called Glavni trg. Maribor Town Hall is located at the north end of the square, easily recognizable by its beautiful architecture.

    From the Maribor city center (Trg svobode), take bus number 6 towards Ulica Janka Padežnika. Get off at the stop 'Glavni trg' (approximately 5 minutes). From the bus stop, walk straight ahead for about 100 meters, and you will find Maribor Town Hall at the end of the square.

    If you are coming from the Maribor Cathedral, exit the cathedral and walk down the steps towards the river. Turn right on the riverbank promenade and walk along the Drava River for about 500 meters until you reach the main square. Once you reach Glavni trg, Maribor Town Hall will be on your right at the north end of the square.
