If you are starting from the central square, Glavni trg, walk towards the main street, Slovenska ulica. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica heroja Tomšiča. Turn left onto Ulica heroja Tomšiča. The Museum of National Liberation will be on your right at Ulica heroja Tomšiča 5. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

From the main bus station in Maribor, take bus number 6 towards 'Pohorska ulica'. Get off at the stop 'Ulica heroja Tomšiča'. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Head back towards the direction of the bus you just came from and the museum will be on your right at Ulica heroja Tomšiča 5. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes.
