Walking
From the center of Škofja Loka, head southeast on Cankarjeva ulica towards the main square (Trg svobode). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the bypass (H4). Cross the road and head onto the pathway that follows the river Sora. Follow the path along the river for about 2 kilometers until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Zgornje Gorje. Turn left at the sign and follow the road uphill. Lake Kreda will be approximately 1 kilometer down this road on your right.

Bus
From the main bus station in Škofja Loka, take bus number 6 towards Zgornje Gorje. The bus will take you directly to Zgornje Gorje. Get off at the stop for 'Zgornje Gorje'. From the bus stop, walk along the main road for about 500 meters, and you will see Lake Kreda on your left. The bus runs approximately every hour, so be sure to check the schedule to plan your visit.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the town center and head towards the river Sora. Follow the bike path along the river, which leads towards Zgornje Gorje. The route is well-marked and takes you through scenic views. It’s a roughly 5-kilometer ride, and you’ll reach Lake Kreda in about 20 minutes. Be cautious of the road as you approach Zgornje Gorje, as some sections may have vehicle traffic.
