Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Cape Town Central Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Adderley Street. Walk straight down Adderley Street for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the large, iconic buildings like the Cape Town City Hall on your left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of Adderley Street and Darling Street. Grand Parade will be right in front of you, a large open space, often bustling with locals and tourists.

  • Public Transport (MyCiTi Bus)

    From the V&A Waterfront, walk to the nearest MyCiTi bus station (V&A Waterfront). Take the MyCiTi bus headed towards the Civic Centre. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the Civic Centre stop. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Adderley Street and you will see Grand Parade directly in front of you, just a short 5-minute walk away.
