Getting There

  • Bus

    From the Cape Town city center, head to the nearest MyCiTi bus station (such as the Civic Centre station). Purchase a MyCiTi bus card if you don't already have one. Take the bus route 109 towards 'Hout Bay' and get off at the 'Constantia Village' stop. Once you disembark, walk along Constantia Main Road (the road you came from) towards Groot Constantia Road. Turn left onto Groot Constantia Road and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Groot Constantia Museum at 2 Groot Constantia Rd.

    From Cape Town's central train station, take the Southern Line train towards 'Simon's Town'. Get off at the 'Kirstenbosch' station. From there, exit the station and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take the MyCiTi bus route 36 towards 'Hout Bay' and get off at the 'Constantia Village' stop. From there, walk along Constantia Main Road towards Groot Constantia Road, turn left, and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the museum.
