To reach Lion's Head, start by making your way to the nearest MyCiTi bus station. If you are in the city center, head to the Civic Centre station. From there, take the MyCiTi bus route 107 towards Camps Bay. Disembark at the 'Hout Bay' stop, which is the closest stop to Lion's Head. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes up Signal Hill Road, following the signs to Lion's Head. The trailhead is clearly marked.

If you are in the neighborhood of the V&A Waterfront, you can walk to Lion's Head. Head toward the intersection of Alfred Road and Dock Road, then continue on Dock Road until you reach the intersection with Beach Road. Turn left onto Beach Road and follow it until you reach the green hills. From there, you will see Lion's Head in the distance. Walk towards it, and take the path leading up to the base of the mountain. The hike is well-marked and should take about 30-40 minutes from the Waterfront.
