  • Train

    From Cape Town city center, walk to the Cape Town Train Station. Purchase a ticket for the Metro train heading towards Strand. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Strand Station, exit the station and head towards the beach by walking straight down Beach Road. Strand Beach will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From the Cape Town city center, head to the Golden Arrow Bus Terminal located at 81 Adderley Street. Look for the bus routes heading towards Strand. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Strand, disembark at the nearest stop to Beach Road. Walk straight towards the beach, and Strand Beach will be directly ahead.

  • MyCiTi Bus

    To reach Strand Beach using the MyCiTi bus service, go to the nearest MyCiTi bus stop in the city center. Take the bus heading towards the airport and transfer at the Civic Centre to catch the bus going to Strand. The transfer will take around 1 hour. Upon arriving at Strand, follow Beach Road towards the coast, and Strand Beach will be on your right.

  • Walking
