    If you are starting from the Durban Beachfront, head towards the South Beach area. Walk along the beachfront promenade towards the south. Continue on the promenade until you reach the end of the beach area, then take a left into Farewell Road. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you see the Cenotaph on your right, situated in a small park area.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    Catch a bus on the Durban public transport system (look for buses heading towards South Beach). Get off at the South Beach stop. From there, walk towards the beach and take the promenade south. After about 800 meters, turn left into Farewell Road. Walk straight for another 500 meters, and you will find the Cenotaph on your right.

  • Taxi/Minibus Taxi

    Find a minibus taxi heading towards South Beach. Once you arrive in the South Beach area, ask the driver to drop you off near Farewell Road. From there, walk straight towards the beach and then follow the beachfront promenade southward. After about 600 meters, turn left onto Farewell Road. Walk straight for another 500 meters, and the Cenotaph will be on your right.
