If you are starting from the Nelspruit CBD, walk towards the N4 highway. Head southeast on the main street until you reach the intersection with the N4 highway. Cross at the pedestrian crossing and continue walking on the sidewalk along the N4 towards Mbombela. After approximately 2 km, look for the signs directing you to the Steiltes area. Turn right onto Melkweg Road. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the entrance to Steiltes Nature Reserve at 37 Melkweg Rd.

From the Nelspruit CBD, head to the nearest bus station. Take a bus that heads towards Mbombela or the Steiltes area. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the closest stop to Steiltes Nature Reserve. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk along Melkweg Road for approximately 1 km until you reach the entrance at 37 Melkweg Rd.
