Car
If you are driving, start from the city center of Cape Town. Head south on the M3 motorway. Follow the signs for Muizenberg and continue on the M3 until it merges with the M5. Take the exit towards Simon's Town and continue onto the M65. After about 20 km, you will reach Chapmans Peak Drive. Lookout Point is located along this scenic route, approximately 10 km from the start of Chapmans Peak Drive. There are parking areas available near the lookout.

Public Transportation
To reach Lookout Point using public transportation, take the MyCiTi bus from the Cape Town city center to Hout Bay. Make sure to buy a MyCiTi card at a station or store and load it with enough money for your journey. Once you arrive in Hout Bay, transfer to a local taxi or shuttle service that goes to Chapmans Peak Drive. Inform the driver you want to go to Lookout Point. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes, and you can expect to pay around R50-70 for the trip.

Walking/Hiking
If you are already in Table Mountain National Park and want to reach Lookout Point via hiking, start from the Hout Bay side of the park. Follow the marked trails toward Chapmans Peak Drive. The hike can take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Chapmans Peak Drive, Lookout Point is just a short walk from the road. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and bring water.
