From the main entrance of West Coast National Park, head south on the R27 towards Yzerfontein. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of Yzerfontein. After parking, walk along the beach towards the west until you reach the water's edge. From there, you will need to take a small boat or kayak to reach Schaap Island, as it is not accessible by land. Local boat rentals are available, and prices may vary.
