    If you are starting from downtown Aiken, head south on Laurens St NW towards Richland Ave W. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Whiskey Rd. Turn left onto Whiskey Rd and walk for approximately 1 mile. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign for Croft Mill Rd, and turn right onto it. Continue on Croft Mill Rd for about 0.7 miles until you see the entrance to Henderson Heritage Preserve on your left.

    If you're biking from the city center, start by heading south on Laurens St NW towards Richland Ave W. After 0.5 miles, turn left onto Whiskey Rd. Continue biking straight for about 1 mile. Be cautious as this road can be busy. Turn right onto Croft Mill Rd and bike for about 0.7 miles. The entrance to Henderson Heritage Preserve will be on your left. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on your speed.
