Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From downtown Aiken, start at the intersection of Richland Ave and Laurens St. Head southeast on Laurens St towards the Aiken Mall. Continue onto US-1 N (also known as Jefferson Davis Hwy) for about 7 miles. Look for State Park Rd on your left. Turn left onto State Park Rd, and follow it until you reach Aiken State Park.

    Begin at the Aiken Visitors Center located at 133 Laurens St NW. Head south on Laurens St toward York St, then take a right onto York St. Continue straight until you reach US-1 N. Follow US-1 N for about 7 miles. When you see State Park Rd, turn left and walk down this road until you arrive at Aiken State Park.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the Aiken County Transit bus from the Aiken Bus Station located at 135 Edgefield Ave NW. Board the bus heading towards North Augusta and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to US-1 N. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach State Park Rd. Turn left onto State Park Rd and continue walking until you get to Aiken State Park.
