If you are driving, start from the center of Folly Beach, such as the Folly Beach Pier. Head west on E Ashley Ave towards 9th St W. Continue on E Ashley Ave as it curves and becomes W Ashley Ave. Follow it until you reach 9th St W. Turn left onto 9th St W, and you will find Public Beach Access at the end of the street. Parking is available along the street but be mindful of any parking regulations to avoid fines.

For those biking, Folly Beach is very bike-friendly. Start from the Folly Beach Pier and ride west on E Ashley Ave. Continue straight as it becomes W Ashley Ave. When you reach 9th St W, turn left. The beach access is at the end of the road. There are bike racks available near the beach access area.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will need to take the CARTA (Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority) bus service. Catch the bus on the Folly Beach route, which will take you to Folly Beach. Once you arrive at the Folly Beach terminal, you can walk or bike to the beach access. Head west on E Ashley Ave, then follow it until it changes to W Ashley Ave, and turn left onto 9th St W to reach the Public Beach Access.
