To reach Paris Mountain State Park Campground from downtown Greer, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Poinsett St. Catch the 504 bus towards Greenville. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Poinsett Hwy and Altamont Rd. From there, you will need to walk about 1.5 miles to the campground entrance. Head north on Poinsett Hwy, then take a left onto Altamont Rd. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Paris Mountain State Park.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Greer to Paris Mountain State Park. Start by heading north on S Main St, which will take you towards the city of Greenville. After about 3 miles, take a right onto Poinsett Hwy. Continue on Poinsett Hwy for about 2 miles until you see the entrance to Paris Mountain State Park on your left. The ride is approximately 5 miles and is mostly on flat terrain, making it a pleasant journey.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can head towards Paris Mountain State Park from the center of Greer. Start by making your way to the intersection of S Main St and W Poinsett St. From there, head north on S Main St for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Poinsett Hwy. Turn right onto Poinsett Hwy and walk for another 1.5 miles. Eventually, you will see the entrance to Paris Mountain State Park on your left. This walk is approximately 3 miles and may take about an hour.
