Bicycle
If you're starting from Coligny Beach Park, rent a bike from one of the nearby rental shops. Head north on Coligny Circle, then take the bike path on Pope Avenue until you reach the intersection with S. Forest Beach Drive. Turn right onto S. Forest Beach Drive, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Beach City Road. Turn left onto Beach City Road and follow it until you reach the Palmetto Dunes Resort. The Hilton Head Rear Range Lighthouse is located near the Arthur Hills Golf Course within the resort.

Walking
From the Shipyard Plantation entrance, walk north along Shipyard Drive until you reach the intersection with Pope Avenue. Cross Pope Avenue and continue straight as Shipyard Drive becomes the bike path. Follow the path through the plantation, enjoying the scenic views. Eventually, you'll reach the Palmetto Dunes Resort entrance. Once inside the resort, follow the signs towards the Arthur Hills Golf Course, where the Hilton Head Rear Range Lighthouse is located.
