Continue biking north until you reach the intersection with US-278. Take a left onto US-278 and continue straight until you reach the bridge to cross over to Savannah. Once over the bridge, follow the signs for downtown Savannah. After arriving in downtown Savannah, look for signs directing you to River Street; the Savannah Riverwalk is located along River Street.

    Locate the nearest bus stop in Hilton Head Island. Board the bus heading towards Bluffton. Once you reach the Bluffton area, transfer to a bus heading to Savannah. Inform the bus driver you want to get off at the downtown Savannah stop. Once you arrive in downtown Savannah, walk towards River Street; the Savannah Riverwalk will be easily accessible from there.

  • Walking

    If you are at a nearby location such as Coligny Beach, walk towards William Hilton Parkway. Cross the road and head north along the sidewalk. Continue straight until you reach the bus stop for the Savannah bus service. Once you board the bus and arrive in Savannah, walk towards River Street; the Savannah Riverwalk will be in that direction.
