Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you are at Coligny Beach Park, start by heading north on Coligny Circle towards the intersection of Pope Avenue. Turn right onto Pope Avenue and follow it until you reach the intersection with Highway 278. At the traffic light, go straight onto Highway 278. Continue for about 5 miles, and then turn right onto May River Road. Follow May River Road until you reach the intersection with Sycamore Street. The destination, Stranger Ground, will be on your left.

  • Public Transport

    From your location in Hilton Head Island, take the local bus service (the Breeze) towards Bluffton. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Highway 278 and May River Road. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk. Head north on May River Road, then turn left onto Sycamore Street. Stranger Ground will be on your left side at the corner of May & Sycamore.

  • Walking

    Starting from the Harbour Town Lighthouse, walk south towards Lighthouse Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sea Pines Drive. Turn right onto Sea Pines Drive and walk straight for about 1 mile. You will reach the intersection with Highway 278. From there, cross the highway carefully and walk along May River Road until you reach Sycamore Street. Turn left onto Sycamore, and Stranger Ground will be on your left.
