Getting There

Bus
To reach the Paris Mountain State Park Visitor Center from downtown Spartanburg, take the SPARTA bus service (Route 2) towards Greenville. Board the bus at the nearest stop on Church St. The bus will take you through several stops. You will need to get off at the stop at Poinsett Highway (US-276). From there, transfer to a local taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance of about 6 miles to the Visitor Center located at 2401 State Park Rd, Greenville, SC 29609.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Spartanburg. Start by heading north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Church Street. Turn left on Church Street and continue until you reach Poinsett Highway (US-276). Follow Poinsett Highway north for approximately 6 miles, keeping an eye out for the sign for State Park Road. Turn left onto State Park Road, and the Visitor Center will be on your left.

Walking
Walking to the Paris Mountain State Park Visitor Center is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 8 miles) and lack of pedestrian pathways along some areas. However, if you choose to walk, start at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium and head east on East Main St. Continue onto Poinsett Highway (US-276) and follow it north for several miles. Once you reach State Park Road, turn left and the Visitor Center will be on your left.
