From the Spartanburg Downtown area, start at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium located at 385 N Church St. Head west on N Church St toward E Main St. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with N Pine St. Turn left onto N Pine St and walk for another 0.2 miles. You will see the Daniel Morgan Monument located in Daniel Morgan Square on your right at the intersection of E Main St and N Pine St. The monument is surrounded by a park with benches and greenery, making it a nice place to stop and enjoy.

If you have a bike, start from the Mary Black Rail Trail at the trailhead located on S Church St. Bike north on the trail, which runs adjacent to the city streets. Continue until you reach the E Main St exit. Turn left on E Main St and bike for about 0.5 miles. You will find the Daniel Morgan Monument at Daniel Morgan Square on your left, right at the intersection with N Pine St. Enjoy the ride through this scenic route.
