Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach Norbeck Wildlife Preserve located at 38 Mt Rushmore Rd. The entrance will be on your right.

If you have access to a bike, start from the Custer County Courthouse located at 447 Crook St. Follow Crook Street south until it merges into Main Street. Continue east on Main Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Mount Rushmore Road (Highway 16A). Turn left onto Mount Rushmore Road and bike for about 0.5 miles. Norbeck Wildlife Preserve will be on your right at 38 Mt Rushmore Rd.
