Getting There

• Car

  From Palisades State Park, exit the park using the main entrance and head west on SD-42. Continue on SD-42 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with I-29. Merge onto I-29 North and drive for about 13 miles. Take exit 81 for SD-34 toward Sioux Falls. Continue on SD-34 for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with S Minnesota Ave. Turn left onto S Minnesota Ave and drive for about 1.5 miles. Then, turn right onto E Falls Park Dr. Follow this road for about half a mile until you arrive at Falls Park, located at 131 E Falls Park Dr, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from the nearest town to Palisades State Park to Sioux Falls. First, arrange a ride to the closest bus station in Sioux Falls. Once you arrive in Sioux Falls, you can take the Sioux Falls Transit bus route that goes to Falls Park. Check the local bus schedules for the most convenient routes. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of Falls Park, which is around 131 E Falls Park Dr, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can bike from Palisades State Park to Falls Park. Exit the park and head west on SD-42. Continue on SD-42 and then merge onto I-29 North, but be cautious as biking on the interstate is not permitted. Instead, take local roads that parallel the interstate. Use a bike map for the safest routes. Once you reach Sioux Falls, follow local bike paths leading to Falls Park, specifically to 131 E Falls Park Dr, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.
