If you are traveling by car in the Gwandong Region, start by heading towards Jeju Island. From the Gwandong Region, take the ferry from the mainland to Jeju Island, which can be booked at the ferry terminal in Busan or Mokpo. The ferry ride takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive at Jeju, drive towards Seogwipo-si. Follow Route 1132, then turn onto Mara-ro. The Southernmost Point is located at 131 Mara-ro, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do. There is no entry fee for visiting the Southernmost Point.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train or bus to the ferry terminal in Busan or Mokpo. From there, board a ferry to Jeju Island. After arriving at Jeju, you can take a local bus to Seogwipo-si. Look for Bus No. 600 or 780 that heads towards Seogwipo. Once you arrive in Seogwipo, transfer to Bus 730 or 740, which will take you to Daejeong-eup. Get off at the stop closest to 131 Mara-ro, and you will be within walking distance of The Southernmost Point. The total cost for the ferry and local buses should be approximately KRW 30,000 to KRW 50,000 depending on your starting point and transfers.
