    If you are driving from Gyeongju Historic Areas, start by heading west on Dongbu-ro. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Gyeongju National Museum on your left. Keep going straight for about 10 minutes, following signs for the Daegu Expressway (Expressway 1). Take the exit for Gyeongsan/Donghwasa (Exit 15) and merge onto Route 25. Follow the signs for Donghwasa, which is located approximately 10 kilometers from the exit. The temple is situated at 1 Donghwasa 1-gil, Dong-gu, Daegu. There is parking available on-site.

    To reach Donghwasa by public transport, start at Gyeongju Bus Terminal. Take bus number 500, which heads towards Daegu. This bus will take approximately 40 minutes to reach the Donghwasa stop.
