If you are already in Chinatown, start by heading towards the main street, Samgukji-ro. Walk down this street until you reach the intersection with Songhak-dong 1(il)-ga. Once you reach this intersection, turn left onto Songhak-dong 1(il)-ga. Continue walking straight for about 300 meters. You will see HongYe-mun on your left. The landmark is easily recognizable, and the walk should take approximately 5-10 minutes.

From Chinatown, you can take a local bus to get closer to HongYe-mun. Look for the nearest bus stop and board Bus Number 7 or 45. These buses frequently run and should cost around 1,250 KRW. Ride the bus for about 4 stops until you reach the 'Songhak-dong' stop. After disembarking, walk about 100 meters along Songhak-dong 1(il)-ga to reach HongYe-mun. The total journey should take around 15-20 minutes.
