Getting There

  • Bus

    From Pohang Intercity Bus Terminal, take a bus to Gyeongju. Buses depart frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive at Gyeongju Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and look for bus number 10 or 11, which will take you towards Seokguram Grotto. Get off at the Seokguram Grotto stop. The grotto is a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Pohang. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Seokguram Grotto' (you can also show them the address: 238 Seokgul-ro, Gyeongju-si). The drive will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Bicycle

    For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle might be an option. Head towards the Gyeongju area via the coastal bike path. Follow signs to Gyeongju, and then use a map app to navigate to Seokgul-ro. The distance is about 25 kilometers, so make sure you're prepared for a longer ride.
