Haeundae Beach: A Coastal Paradise in Busan

Getting There

• Subway

  To get to Haeundae Beach using the subway, start by locating the nearest subway station, which is likely Ulsan Station. From Ulsan Station, take Line 1 towards Bango-dong. Ride the subway until you reach Busan Station. At Busan Station, transfer to Line 2 (the Green Line) heading towards Jangsan. Stay on Line 2 until you reach Haeundae Station. Once you exit Haeundae Station, take Exit 3. From there, Haeundae Beach is just a short 10-minute walk straight down the road.

• Bus

  To reach Haeundae Beach by bus, first find a bus stop nearby. Look for bus routes that go towards Busan, particularly those labeled with Haeundae. Take the bus that goes directly to Haeundae Beach or to Haeundae Station. Upon arriving at Haeundae Station, follow the signs to exit 3, and then walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach the beach.

• Taxi

  If you prefer to take a taxi to Haeundae Beach, simply find a nearby taxi stand or hail a taxi on the street. Tell the driver 'Haeundae Beach' (해운대 해수욕장) to ensure they understand your destination. The taxi ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off near the beach entrance.

• Walking

  If you are staying in a nearby area, you can walk to Haeundae Beach. Look for signs that guide you towards Haeundae. Depending on your starting point, follow the main roads leading to the beach area. Make sure to walk towards the coastline, where you will find the sandy beach and various attractions.
