    From Almería, head to the Estación de Autobuses (Bus Station) located at Avenida de la Estación. Purchase a ticket for the bus heading to Tabernas. Buses run frequently, but it’s advisable to check the latest schedule. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tabernas bus stop, follow the signs pointing towards the Tabernas Desert which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Train and Walk

    Take the train from Almería to the nearest train station, which is in the town of Adra. At Almería’s train station, purchase a ticket for a train heading towards Adra. Once you arrive at the Adra station, you will need to take a taxi or local bus towards Tabernas Desert. If you choose to walk, it will take approximately 2 hours from Adra to Tabernas, so plan accordingly.
