If you are near the city center, take the L4 (Yellow Line) Metro from stations like Passeig de Gràcia or Urquinaona. Travel towards La Pau and get off at the 'Ciutadella-Vila Olimpica' station. When you exit the station, follow the signs to Parc de la Ciutadella. The zoo is located within the park, just a short walk away.

You can take several bus lines that go to Parc de la Ciutadella. Lines 39, 51, and 57 all stop near the park. Check the bus stops for the nearest one to your location, board the bus, and get off at the ‘Parc de la Ciutadella’ stop. From there, walk into the park and follow the signs to Barcelona Zoo.

If you are staying in the Ciutat Vella area, you can reach the zoo on foot. Head towards Parc de la Ciutadella, which is easily accessible. Enter the park through any of the main entrances, and follow the paths leading to the zoo. Look for the signs directing you towards Barcelona Zoo.
