El Peix d'Or: A Marvel of Modern Sculpture in Barcelona

Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near a metro station, take Line 4 (the yellow line) towards La Pau. Get off at the Ciutadella-Vila Olímpica station. Once you exit the station, head towards the beach and walk along the waterfront. El Peix d'Or is located at C/ de Ramon Trias Fargas, 2, which is a short 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs for the beach, and you will see the iconic sculpture.

• Bus

  You can take Bus 36 from various points in the city. Get on the bus at any stop along its route, and disembark at the stop named 'Carrer de la Marina - Passeig de Colom.' From there, walk towards the waterfront, and you will see El Peix d'Or located at C/ de Ramon Trias Fargas, 2, approximately a 5-minute walk away.

• Walking

  If you are already in Ciutat Vella or near the beach, simply walk towards the beachfront area. Head to C/ de Ramon Trias Fargas, 2, which is where El Peix d'Or is situated. The walk from the Barceloneta beach area should take approximately 15 minutes, and you will enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea along the way.

• Tram

  Take the Tram T4 (yellow line) towards Estació de França. Get off at the stop named 'Wellington.' From there, head in the direction of the beach and walk towards C/ de Ramon Trias Fargas, 2. It's about a 10-minute walk, and you will see the sculpture as you approach the waterfront.
