Train
From Plaça Catalunya station in central Barcelona, take the FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) line S1 or S2 towards Sabadell or Sant Cugat. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at Sant Cugat station. Once you arrive at Sant Cugat station, exit the station and walk towards Carrer de la Creu. Turn left onto Carrer de la Creu and continue straight until you reach Plaça d'Octavià, where the Monastery of Sant Cugat is located.

Metro + Train
Take the L3 (Green Line) metro from any station in Barcelona and get off at the last stop, which is Zona Universitària. Transfer to the FGC train at the adjacent station, taking line S1 or S2 towards Sabadell or Sant Cugat. Travel for about 30 minutes and get off at Sant Cugat station. Upon exiting the station, head towards Carrer de la Creu, turn left and continue until you reach Plaça d'Octavià, the location of the Monastery.

You can take the bus from Barcelona to Sant Cugat. Check the TMB (Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona) website for the latest routes. A common option is to take bus line 115 from the Plaza de Catalunya or another central location to Sant Cugat. The bus will drop you off near the city center. From there, walk to Plaça d'Octavià, where the Monastery of Sant Cugat is located, which is a short 10-minute walk.
