Metro
If you are near the city center, head to the nearest metro station, which could be Universitat or Plaça Catalunya. From Universitat, take Line 1 (Red Line) in the direction of Hospital de Bellvitge. Get off at the fifth stop, Plaça d'Espanya. The station has multiple exits; take the exit that says 'Plaça d'Espanya'. Once you are outside, you will see the large square in front of you.
Bus
Find a nearby bus stop that services lines 65, 79, or 150. Board any of these buses and make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Plaça d'Espanya. The journey may take around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be directly in the square.
Walking
If you are staying in the nearby area of Sants or Montjuïc, you can easily walk to Plaça d'Espanya. From Sants Station, head northeast on Carrer de la Riera Blanca, then turn right onto Carrer de Numància. Continue straight until you reach the large roundabout at Plaça d'Espanya. It should take you approximately 15-20 minutes on foot.
Taxi
You can hail a taxi from any point in Barcelona. Just tell the driver 'Plaça d'Espanya'. Taxis are usually available around the city, and the ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your starting location and traffic conditions.
