Look for the tall towers of the Cathedral of Barcelona as a landmark.

Find a nearby bus stop and catch Bus 91, which travels through the city. Disembark at the stop called 'Plaça de Catalunya'. From there, walk down Carrer de Pelai until you reach the intersection with Carrer de la Portaferrissa. Turn right and continue straight; Plaça Nova will be just ahead, adjacent to the Cathedral.

If you are already in the Ciutat Vella area, you can reach Plaça Nova by walking. Start from the Cathedral of Barcelona, which is a prominent landmark. From the Cathedral, exit facing the main square and head towards Carrer de la Catedral, then turn left onto Carrer de la Portaferrissa. Continue straight until you reach Plaça Nova, which is directly east of the Cathedral.
