Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the historic center of Córdoba, start at the Plaza de las Tendillas. From the plaza, head southwest on Calle Pedro López. Continue straight until you reach Avenida de la Libertad. Turn left onto Avenida de la Libertad, and follow it until you reach the intersection with Calle San Fernando. Turn right onto Calle San Fernando, and continue until you see the entrance to the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos on your left. The Statue of Averroes is located just outside the Alcázar on the right side, beside the city walls. The statue is easily visible from the street.

  • Public Transport

    From the Córdoba train station, take bus line 3 towards 'Ronda de los Tejares'. Get off at the stop 'Alameda de los Jardines'. From there, walk towards the Avenida de la Libertad, then turn left and head towards Calle San Fernando. Continue walking until you reach the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. The Statue of Averroes is situated just outside the Alcázar on your right.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Plaza de las Tendillas and head towards the river on Calle José María de la Calle.
