Walking
If you are starting from the Cuenca train station, exit the station and walk straight towards the main road (Carretera de Cuenca). Turn left and walk for about 1 km until you reach Plaza de España. From Plaza de España, take the pedestrian pathway that leads you uphill. Continue walking straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach Plaza Mayor. The Cuenca Cathedral is located directly at Plaza Mayor, easy to spot with its impressive façade.
Public Transport
If you are near the Cuenca bus station, take bus line L1 towards the city center. The bus will take you to the Plaza de España stop. Once you get off the bus, follow the instructions mentioned above: walk along the pedestrian pathway uphill for about 500 meters until you arrive at Plaza Mayor. The Cuenca Cathedral will be right in front of you.

From the historic center of Cuenca, head towards Calle Alfonso VIII. Walk straight until you reach Plaza Mayor, where you will find the Cuenca Cathedral. It's a short walk that should take you approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your pace, and you will enjoy the beautiful streets lined with traditional architecture.

If you are near the Hanging Houses (Casas Colgadas), it is just a 15-minute walk to Plaza Mayor. Head down from the Hanging Houses towards the Huécar River, cross the bridge, and walk uphill towards Plaza Mayor. The Cathedral is located right in the heart of the plaza.
