Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Granada Cathedral, exit onto Plaza Bib-Rambla and face the cathedral. From there, head northeast on Calle Gran Via de Colón, and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Plaza Nueva. At Plaza Nueva, you will see the entrance to the Albaicín neighborhood. Take the street Calle Almireceros, which leads directly into the Albaicín area. Continue straight until you reach the viewpoint Mirador de San Nicolás, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Alhambra. From there, descend the hill along Calle San Nicolás until you reach Calle Carrera del Darro, which is a picturesque street next to the river. The Carrera del Darro will be on your left.

    If you are starting from the Alhambra, exit the Alhambra complex and head towards the city center. Walk down Cuesta de los Chinos, a steep path that leads you down to the river. At the bottom, turn right onto Carrera del Darro. You will find yourself on the beautiful street that runs alongside the river with stunning views of the Alhambra and the surrounding hills.
