Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the city center (Plaza de Cañadio), head east on Calle de José María Pereda. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade, Paseo de Pereda. Once there, turn right and follow the promenade along the bay. You will pass by the beautiful Jardines de Pereda. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade where it meets the entrance to the Parque de la Magdalena. Follow the signs into the park, which will lead you directly to Palacio de la Magdalena.

Bus
From Santander city center, you can take the bus number 1 (direction: El Sardinero) from the bus stop at Plaza de Cañadio. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes, and get off at the 'Palacio de la Magdalena' stop. From there, it’s a short walk into the park where the palace is located. Follow the pathway signs leading you to the main entrance of the Palacio.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental stations in the city. Start from the city center and cycle towards the waterfront, following the same route as the walking directions. Once you reach the Paseo de Pereda, continue along the waterfront, and then enter the Parque de la Magdalena. There are bike paths available inside the park that will take you to the Palacio de la Magdalena.
