Getting There

• Walking

  From the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, head south on Rúa do Franco towards Rúa de la Catedral. Continue straight until you reach Rúa de San Pedro. Turn left onto Rúa de San Pedro and walk until you reach the intersection with Rúa do Horno de San Roque. Turn right onto Rúa do Horno de San Roque, which will lead you to the Plaza de Galicia. From the plaza, continue along Rúa de la Raíña until you reach the intersection with Rúa de Ramón y Cajal. Turn left here and follow the road until you see a bus stop. From this point, you can catch Bus Line 1, which heads towards Pontevedra.

• Bus

  Once on Bus Line 1, stay on the bus until you reach the 'Pontevedra' stop. This journey will take approximately 1 hour. After disembarking, walk straight ahead on Rúa de la Oliva until you reach Rúa Padre Amoedo Carballo. Turn right onto Rúa Padre Amoedo Carballo, and the Museo de Pontevedra - Edificio Castelao will be on your left at number 3.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from the Cathedral, you can take a direct route by heading northwest on Rúa da Senra. Continue straight until you reach Rúa de Campo. Turn left onto Rúa de Campo and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rúa de José Malvar, which will lead you directly to Pontevedra. Follow this road until you reach Rúa Padre Amoedo Carballo, then turn left to find the museum at number 3.
