Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of El Arenal, start by heading southeast on Calle José Díaz, which leads towards the main thoroughfare, Avenida de la Constitución. Continue straight until you reach Plaza Nueva, a large square. From there, take the exit onto Calle Sierpes, a popular shopping street. Walk along Calle Sierpes until you reach Plaza de San Francisco. As you cross the square, look for the signs directing you toward Puerta del Arenal, which is a short distance away. Follow the signs and you will arrive at Puerta del Arenal.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  For those who prefer public transport, you can take the bus from the nearest bus stop in El Arenal. Look for bus line C1 or C2, which operates frequently. Board the bus heading towards Plaza de Armas. Once you get off at the Plaza de Armas stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to Puerta del Arenal. Head northeast on Calle José Díaz toward Avenida de la Constitución, then follow the directions as mentioned in the walking guidance.

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply hail a taxi from a nearby street or use a taxi app. Inform the driver to take you to Puerta del Arenal.
