Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the iconic Plaza de España, exit the square and head towards the main road, Avenida de la Constitución. Walk straight down Avenida de la Constitución for about 15 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the beautiful views of the Cathedral of Seville on your left as you approach your destination. As you near the end of Avenida de la Constitución, the Archivo de Indias will be located on your right, just across from the Cathedral.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you are near the city center, look for bus stops that serve the C1 or C2 lines. Catch either of these buses heading towards the Plaza de España. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Archivo de Indias.' From the bus stop, walk across the street, and you will see the entrance to the Archivo de Indias just ahead, next to the Cathedral.

From the Metropol Parasol (Las Setas), head southwest towards Plaza de la Encarnación and then continue towards the Avenida de la Constitución. Once you reach Avenida de la Constitución, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by various shops and the beautiful sights of the city. The Archivo de Indias will be on your right side, just before you reach the Cathedral of Seville.

If you find yourself at the Triana neighborhood, you can cross the Isabel II Bridge (Puente de Triana) towards the city center. Once across the bridge, continue straight until you reach Plaza Nueva. From Plaza Nueva, take Avenida de la Constitución heading east for about 15 minutes. The Archivo de Indias will be on your left, across from the Cathedral.
