Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the heart of Triana, head towards the riverbank along Calle Betis. Enjoy the beautiful views as you walk along the Guadalquivir River. Continue walking until you reach the Plaza del Altozano. The Museo Del Castillo De San Jorge is located right at this plaza, just slightly inland from the river. The distance is approximately 1 kilometer, and should take you around 15-20 minutes on foot.

    From Triana, you can take the Tram Line T1 from the nearby stop 'Plaza de Cuba'. Ride the tram towards 'San Bernardo' and get off at the 'Plaza de Armas' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the museum. Head towards the river and walk across the Puente de Los Remedios bridge. Once on the other side, continue towards Plaza del Altozano where the museum is located. Please note that a single tram ticket costs around €1.40.

    You can also take the bus from Triana. Board the bus line C1 at the stop 'San Jacinto'. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Alameda de Hércules' stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk. Head southwest towards Calle José Díaz and keep walking until you reach Plaza del Altozano. The museum will be on your left. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.40.
