Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Granada, take the A-44 motorway towards Motril. After approximately 50 km, take exit 164 toward La Alpujarra/Trevélez (A-348). Follow the A-348 for about 30 km until you reach Trevélez. Once in Trevélez, follow the signs to the parking area near the trailhead for Siete Lagunas. The journey takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Parking may incur a small fee, usually around €2-€5.

  • Public Transportation

    From Granada, take a bus from the Estación de Autobuses to Trevélez. ALSA is the main bus company that operates this route, and buses run several times a day. The trip takes about 2.5 hours. Once in Trevélez, you can either walk to the trailhead or take a local taxi if your luggage is heavy. Expect to pay around €10-€15 for a taxi ride to the trailhead.
