If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Granada. Take the A-44 highway towards Sierra Nevada. After approximately 30 km, take exit 132 towards Güéjar Sierra. Follow the signs to Güéjar Sierra, and once in the town, continue following the signs towards Vereda de la Estrella. You will need to drive along a winding mountain road, which can be narrow in places. The final stretch will require you to park at the designated area before the hiking trail. Ensure you have change for parking meters if applicable.
