If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Granada. Take the A-44 highway towards Sierra Nevada. After approximately 30 km, take exit 132 towards Güéjar Sierra. Follow the signs to Güéjar Sierra, and once in the town, continue following the signs towards Vereda de la Estrella. You will need to drive along a winding mountain road, which can be narrow in places. The final stretch will require you to park at the designated area before the hiking trail. Ensure you have change for parking meters if applicable.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Granada to Güéjar Sierra. Buses operated by ALSA run regularly from the central bus station in Granada to Güéjar Sierra. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Güéjar Sierra bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to the starting point of the Vereda de la Estrella trail. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends.

Upon arriving in Güéjar Sierra, if you decide to walk to the Vereda de la Estrella trailhead, head towards the main square and follow the signs for the hiking trail. It is approximately a 2.5 km walk from the town center to the trailhead, which takes around 30-40 minutes. The path is scenic, so take your time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
