Metro
To reach El Saler, start by heading to the nearest metro station, which could be either 'Xàtiva' or 'Colón', depending on your location in Valencia. Take Line 3 (Red Line) or Line 5 (Green Line) towards 'Aeroport' or 'Marítim - Serrería'. If you are starting from 'Xàtiva', transfer at 'Colón' to Line 5. Alight at 'Albufera - El Saler' station. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to El Saler. Exit the station and head southwest on Avenida de los Naranjos. Continue straight until you see signs for El Saler.
Bus
If you prefer the bus, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for lines 25 or 30 that go towards 'El Saler'. You can catch these buses at various points in the city, like the main bus terminal or near major hotels. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the 'El Saler' stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the main entrance of El Saler.
Bicycle
For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle. Valencia has a network of bike lanes that make cycling safe and enjoyable. Head towards the 'Turia Gardens' and follow the bike paths leading southeast. Keep following the signs for 'El Saler' which should guide you through the gardens and towards the coast. It’s approximately a 30-minute bike ride from the city center to El Saler.
Walking
If you are up for a long walk, you can walk to El Saler from the city center. Start at the 'Plaza del Ayuntamiento' and head south on Calle de la Paz. Continue straight until you reach the 'Turia Gardens'. Walk through the park towards the southeast until you arrive at the coastal area. This will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, but the beautiful scenery makes it worth the journey.
