Once you reach Plaza del Ayuntamiento, walk towards the northwest until you reach Calle de la Paz. Continue straight on Calle de la Paz until you reach Plaza de la Virgen. At Plaza de la Virgen, you will see the beautiful Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados.

From Plaza de la Virgen, head towards the north side of the square and take the Calle de la Lonja. Walk straight until you reach the Mercado Central, a local market. Continue walking straight, and you will find yourself in the Ciutat Vella area.
